The MACOMB SYMPHONY ORCHESTRA HONORS OUR FRONTLINE WORKERS
Macomb County, MICHIGAN – As Michigan continues to lift Covid-19 restrictions, the Macomb Symphony Orchestra representing Southeastern Michigan, will be hosting an outdoor concert on Saturday, July 31, 2021, at 7:00 PM, in the St. Lawrence K of C Park on 11541 21 Mile Rd., Shelby, MI 48315. The event will be dedicated to our many frontline workers, veterans, active duty military, and those we remember, in a musical tribute to their valiant efforts during our recent world epidemic.
The Macomb Symphony Orchestra, like many performing organizations unfortunately silent for the past year and a half, is eager to share its music once again with a family-oriented concert program that is sure to bring a smile to audiences of all ages. The exciting event will honor local police, military, and medical personnel. Children will not be disappointed and will enjoy a special visit from several heroic characters of the silver screen, including Spider Man, Batman, and Superman (just to name a few). In addition to an outstanding wide-range of musical selections, the outdoor concert will also feature a trained service dog demonstration. Food and beverages will be available. This is the perfect time to share our love of music and honor those who have served us during these difficult times.Everyone will have fun at this family event! Admission for the concert is $10 per person and free for children 12 years old or younger. Gates open at 5 PM.
