Special Note: The Youth Education concerts has been cancelled this year:

As you may have heard by now, Michigan Governor Gretchen Whitmer declared a state of emergency in response to the presence of COVID-19 (coronavirus).  The Governor has also recommended that all public and private institutions cancel any event with an attendance of 100 or more people.  In response to the governor's direction Macomb Community College is cancelling all performances and presentations at Macomb Center for the Performing Arts and the Lorenzo Cultural Center.   These cancellations take place immediately and affect all events scheduled March 12 through April 12.  Unfortunately, this includes the MSO Youth Concerts on 3/18/2020.  We hope to see you all next year.

We have something GREAT for you!

For more than 40 years, the Macomb Symphony Orchestra has presented an educational concert series, focused on the importance of music education in the community.

The MSO encourages people of all ages to be part of the learning experience by exposing them to great music in live perfomances at the Macomb Center for the Performing Arts (at M-59 and Garifeld in Clinton Township).

On Wednesday, March 18, 2020 at 9:30am and 11:00am, Thomas Cook will lead te MSO in these concerts that provides an introductory explaination of the composers, their music and instruments of the orchestra. These educational performances are designed to foster a love of music that will last a lifetime!
