Bi-Annual Youth Concerts

The Macomb Symphony Orchestra has presented educational concerts since the 1980s. We have focused on the importance of music education in the community since the founding of the orchestra.

While every concert is an opportunity to expand the mind and learn, the MSO has dedicated these concerts to the engagement of youth. These performances are fun and engaging for youth ranging from 3rd-8th grade. These performances take place at the Macomb Center for the Performing Arts (at M-59 and Garfield in Clinton Township).

Music Director, Andrew Neer leads the Macomb Symphony Orchestra in these fun, engaging, educational concerts that provide an introductory explaination of the composers, their music and instruments of the orchestra. These performances are designed to foster a love of music that will last a lifetime for all ages!
